Who doesn’t love a good sandwich?  I’m always looking for new sandwich recipes, or slider recipes, in this case.  They make for a great tasty little bite, work well as appetizers, or can be packed for a light lunch.  My favorite thing to do is make a 9×13 pan of sandwiches that can be portioned out, wrapped in foil, and grabbed each morning on my way to work.

Today I want to share with you 4 different recipes for sliders.  These are all simple recipes and are something the whole family will enjoy.  I like to keep these recipes in my back pocket for holiday weekends (like the 4th of July) or you could make a pan to serve at a sleepover when the kids have the late-night munchies!

First up is Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders.  Think traditional Chicken Cordon Bleu but in sandwich form.  You get the savory ham, tender chicken, melted cheese, and tangy Dijon in each bite.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Use a long bread knife to slice the rolls in half – down the middle.  You want to keep the rolls attached so the top half is one big sheet, and the bottom half is one big sheet.

Place the bottom half of the rolls in the bottom of the baking pan.

Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl.  Add the parsley, thyme, and garlic.  Mix well.

Brush the butter mixture over the bottom half of the rolls – you don’t want to use much!  Save most of the mixture for the top of the rolls.

Slice the chicken tenders or strips in half – lengthwise.  Place the chicken in a single layer on the rolls.  Try to cover as much of the rolls as possible.

Top the chicken with 5 slices of cheese.

Layer the ham evenly on top of the cheese.  Use as much or as little ham as you like.

Top with the other 5 slices of cheese.

Place the top half of the rolls on top.

Brush the remaining butter mixture over the top of the rolls, making sure to evenly coat each roll and let some drip down the sides.

Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sliders are warmed through.

Let cool for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.  Or you can let the sliders cool completely, then slice and wrap in foil to refrigerate for lunches throughout the week.

Next up is Hot Italian Sliders.  These sliders are loaded with all the classics of an Italian sandwich – ham, salami, pepperoni, cheese, and more!  You will think you ordered from a deli in New York with how good these sliders are.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Use a long bread knife to slice the rolls in half – down the middle.  You want to keep the rolls attached so the top half is one big sheet, and the bottom half is one big sheet.

Place the bottom half of the rolls in the bottom of the baking pan.

Add a layer of ham on top of the rolls.  Use as much or as little ham as you like.

Add a layer of salami on top of the ham.  Use as much or as little salami as you like.

And a layer of pepperoni on top of the salami.  Use as much or a little pepperoni as you like.

Add the provolone cheese on top of the pepperoni.

Add the roasted red pepper and banana pepper slices on top of the cheese.

Place the top half of the rolls on top.

Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl.  Add the Italian Seasoning and stir to combine.

Pour or brush over the top of the rolls, making sure to evenly coat each roll and let some drip down the sides.

Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sliders are warmed through.

Let cool for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.  Or you can let the sliders cool completely, then slice and wrap in foil to refrigerate for lunches throughout the week.

Next up is Monte Cristo Sliders.  These are essentially a fancy grilled ham and cheese sandwich with French toast style breading.  It’s made with layers of bread, ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, and is served with a lovely dipping sauce.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Use a long bread knife to slice the rolls in half – down the middle.  You want to keep the rolls attached so the top half is one big sheet, and the bottom half is one big sheet.

Place the bottom half of the rolls in the bottom of the baking pan.

Place the ham in an even layer on the bottom half of the rolls.

Place the turkey in an even layer on top of the ham.

Place the Swiss cheese slices in an even layer on top of the turkey.

Make the sauce by melting butter in a microwave safe bowl.  Add the egg, Worcestershire, Dijon, and mayonnaise.  Mix until well combined.

Pour 1/2 of the mixture on top of the Swiss cheese.  Use a knife to spread the mixture evenly over the top.

Place the top half of the rolls on top.

Pour the rest of the mixture over the top of the rolls.  Make sure to evenly coat each roll and let some drip down the sides.  Use a knife to spread the mixture, if needed.

Traditionally, you would dip the sandwich in egg before frying but in this case, you are brushing the egg mixture over the top to absorb into the bread.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sliders are warmed through.  You don’t need to cover the pan with foil, but you can if you prefer.  If you notice the tops are starting to brown, you may want to add foil to prevent the tops from burning while baking.

Let cool for about 5 minutes, then slice into individual sandwiches.  Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of each sandwich and serve warm with a side of raspberry preserves for dipping.  Or you can let the sliders cool completely, then slice and wrap in foil to refrigerate for lunches throughout the week.  If you are saving the sandwiches for later, I would hold off on sprinkling with powdered sugar.  You don’t want the rolls to get sticky or soggy from the sugar.

Finally, we have Supreme Pizza Sliders.  These sliders are inspired by a “garbage pizza” or a pizza with a top of toppings.  Something you pile high with all your favorite ingredients.  I do have a list of ingredients I like to add and will discuss those below but because these are “pizza sandwiches” you can really customize them to any taste.  Add Canadian bacon, remove the black olives, add roasted red peppers, etc.  Make them your own!

Top evenly with artichokes, bell pepper, pepperoni, olives, and shredded mozzarella cheese.  This is where you can add other toppings or remove something you don’t like.

Spread the top half of the rolls with a small amount of marinara sauce, then place the top half of the rolls on top.

Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl.  Add the parmesan, olive oil, balsamic, garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes.  Whisk to combine.

Pour over the top of the rolls, making sure to evenly coat each roll and let some drip down the sides.

Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sliders are warmed through.

Let cool for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.  Or you can let the sliders cool completely, then slice and wrap in foil to refrigerate for lunches throughout the week.  You can add some additional marinara sauce on the side for dipping, but this is completely optional.
