Chicken.  Bacon.  Ranch.  Three things that pair amazingly well together.  Combine them in sandwich form and you have one mighty fine meal.  Think tender chicken, creamy ranch (which really goes with just about anything), and crispy bacon smothered between a bun with some melted cheese for good measure.  This is what dreams are made of.  I may be getting ahead of myself, but I do sure enjoy a good Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich!

The recipe can be found here.

Start by cooking the bacon according to package instructions.  I like to move the bacon to a paper towel lined plate to absorb some of the grease and set aside until I’m ready to use.

Add the cream cheese to a large saucepan or pot and heat over medium-low heat.  Stir occasionally to melt the cream cheese.  Once it’s about halfway melted, add the entire packet of ranch seasoning (Ugh, it smells so good.  I’m a ranch fanatic).  Stir to combine and continue to melt the cream cheese.

Once melted, add the cooked chicken, and stir to coat.  I like to use rotisserie chicken for this dish.  You can cook your own chicken ahead of time and slice it, but I like the simplicity and taste of the rotisserie chicken in this dish.  Sometimes you can even find rotisserie chicken at the grocery store that has been removed from the bones so that’s even less work for you!

Continue to heat the chicken for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.

While the chicken is warming, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.  Place the buns (open-faced) on a baking sheet.  Add one slice of cheddar cheese to each half of the bun.  If you’ve seen me, you know I’m not a “one slice of cheese” kind of gal, so I like to have cheese on each side of the bun.

Place the buns in the oven for 4-5 minutes.  You want the cheese to be melted and the buns to be toasted.

Finally, you are ready to assemble the sandwiches.  Place 2 pieces of bacon on the bottom half of the bun (or save them for the top, whatever works!).  I sometimes break the bacon in half so it all fits on the sandwich and then you get more crispy bacon in each bite.

Top with a heaping portion of the chicken mixture.

Drizzle with ranch dressing.  This is completely optional but it is a Chicken Bacon RANCH sandwich so you might as well 🙂

Place the other half of the bun on top and repeat to assemble the rest of the sandwiches.  Enjoy!

The recipe can be found here.

These are SO good and SO easy to make!  Again, using rotisserie chicken will cut down on the time needed to make the sandwiches.  You can also make the bacon ahead of time and reheat it right before assembling the sandwiches.  Do what works for you!

Happy Cooking!
