Chicken Bacon Ranch Noodle Soup is an elevated version of Chicken Noodle Soup.  It’s like Chicken Noodle Soup on steroids 😊 I’m all for anything chicken, bacon, ranch flavored and this soup does not disappoint.  It’s packed with soft noodles, tender chicken, perfectly seasoned ranch broth, and the toppings bring it to a whole new level.  It’s great for a cold winter night or when you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal because it doesn’t take long to prepare.  Personally, I’ll be eating this soup year-round.  It’s hearty without being filling, warms you up, is customizable, and makes great leftovers. The recipe can be found here. Start by chopping the bacon into bite sized pieces.  Add to a skillet and cook over medium heat until cooked through and crispy.  Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain the grease and set aside.  I find this the easiest way to cook the bacon for this recipe, so … Continue reading

Slow Cooker Shredded Ranch Chicken is a delicious yet versatile recipe that is perfect for any day of the week!  With only 4 ingredients needed, you’ll be able to whip it up in no time (or whip it up and start your slow cooker, lol).  The taste of the chicken reminds me of Cool Ranch Doritos…it’s a little tangy and zesty.  The chicken is very tender and moist, and the seasoning is a combination of ranch and taco seasoning making is super flavorful.  The chicken can be enjoyed as is or served as a sandwich, on top of a salad, over rice with veggies, in tacos, fajitas, or quesadillas. The recipe can be found here. Start by placing the boneless skinless chicken breasts in the bowl of a slow cooker.  Sprinkle the taco seasoning and ranch seasoning packets over the top.  Pour in the chicken broth. Close the lid and cook on LOW for 6 hours … Continue reading

Meatloaf is a wonderful comfort food and if you’re from the Midwest…it’s a bit of a staple.  It’s one of those meals you either love or hate.  If you hate it, you probably ate it too much as a kid 😊 but I think you should give it one more chance and try my Chicken Bacon Ranch Meatloaf.  I’m a chicken-bacon-ranch fan and consider myself to be somewhat of a CBR (chicken-bacon-ranch) connoisseur.  If it’s available at a restaurant in some capacity, chances are I’ll order it.  I think it’s delicious and love the flavor combination. The recipe can be found here. Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.  Line a standard size loaf pan with parchment paper.  This will help you lift the meatloaf out of the pan after cooking, making it easier to slice and serve.  Open the jar of bacon bits and reserve ¼ cup. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, dried minced … Continue reading

Chicken Bacon Ranch Kabobs are a simple 5 ingredient meal the whole family will love!  They are very flavorful and a combination most people are already familiar with.  Try them for a quick weeknight meal or serve at a summer BBQ.  The kabobs are packed with crispy bacon, tender chicken, and are marinated in a homemade ranch dressing. The recipe can be found here. Start by adding the wooden skewers to a drinking glass filled with water to soak before grilling.  This will prevent the wood from catching fire on the grill.  Set aside until ready to use.  I like to marinate mine for at least a few hours.  Alternately, you can use metal skewers and skip the soaking process.  My preference is to use 6” skewers but 10” skewers also work, you just won’t have as many skewers. Add the olive oil, black pepper, and ranch seasoning to a gallon size Ziploc bag.  Shake slightly to combine. Slice … Continue reading

These are addicting!  Who knew a chicken burger could taste so good?  Chicken Bacon Ranch Burgers are loaded with juicy chicken, melted cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, and plenty of ranch seasoning.  They are a new household favorite and something you should keep stocked in your freezer for plenty of summer grilling. The recipe can be found here. Start by cooking the bacon according to package instructions.  You can use any brand, thickness, or flavor of bacon you prefer.  Just make sure to have enough bacon to use as an ingredient inside the burgers and as a topping.  Once cooked, remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain the excess grease.  Chop 4 strips of bacon and set the other strips aside. Add the ground chicken, chopped bacon, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and the entire packet of ranch seasoning to a mixing bowl.  Don’t make the ranch dressing, just use … Continue reading

Everyone loves a good Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich, but have you ever tried Chicken Bacon Ranch Sheet Pan Nachos?  Let me tell you…they are yummy!  Super easy to make, super quick to make, super easy to cleanup, and they work well as an appetizer (or as a meal for 2…guilty as charged).  The chicken is juicy and tender, the bacon is salty and crisp, and melted cheese brings it all (or holds it all) together.  My favorite part is the ranch dressing that’s drizzled over the top.  It’s not just a bottle of ranch dressing but a homemade mixture that is rich and creamy, and you will want some in every bite! The recipe can be found here. Start by making the ranch dressing.  Combine the ranch dressing mix, mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk in a mixing bowl.  Whisk until well combined.  Then cover and refrigerate until ready to use. I like to let mine sit for about an … Continue reading

Chicken.  Bacon.  Ranch.  Three things that pair amazingly well together.  Combine them in sandwich form and you have one mighty fine meal.  Think tender chicken, creamy ranch (which really goes with just about anything), and crispy bacon smothered between a bun with some melted cheese for good measure.  This is what dreams are made of.  I may be getting ahead of myself, but I do sure enjoy a good Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich! The recipe can be found here. Start by cooking the bacon according to package instructions.  I like to move the bacon to a paper towel lined plate to absorb some of the grease and set aside until I’m ready to use. Add the cream cheese to a large saucepan or pot and heat over medium-low heat.  Stir occasionally to melt the cream cheese.  Once it’s about halfway melted, add the entire packet of ranch seasoning (Ugh, it … Continue reading

Step up your Sloppy Joe game with Chicken Bacon Ranch Sloppy Joe’s!  Ready in under 30 minutes, these Sloppy Joe’s are a yummy mixture of chicken, bacon, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning all sandwiched between a bun.  If you’ve ever had anything chicken-bacon-ranch flavored before, you know what I’m talking about 😊  This recipe is a win! The recipe can be found here. Start by heating a large skillet over medium high heat.  Add the bacon and cook according to package instructions.  Remove the bacon to a paper towel lined plate to drain some of the grease.  Do not drain the grease from the pan – you will be cooking the other ingredients in the bacon grease. Reduce the heat to medium and add the chopped onion.  Cook until soft and translucent.  This shouldn’t take long because the bacon grease will already be plenty hot! Add the ground chicken to the skillet and cook until … Continue reading

If you need a fun new dinner idea, are looking for an appetizer for a party, or simply want to have Mexican night at home, Tostadas are the way to go!  They are very versatile yet simple and easy to make.  Tostada is the Spanish word for toasted, which fits the description perfectly, because a toasted (or deep fried) tortilla is the base of the dish.  You then top the tortilla with beans, cheese, meat, lettuce, fruit, and other toppings.  Basically, you want to pile the ingredients high and dig in…. these are meant to be messy! One of my favorite Tostada recipes is for BBQ Chicken Tostadas.  These are served warm and I think that’s part of the appeal for me.  I love the combination of melted cheese, tender chicken, and tangy BBQ sauce in every bite.  They are also fairly light so you will be satisfied without feeling … Continue reading
