Have you ever had a shot of Fireball Whiskey?  It’s like drinking Red Hots.  It’s burns a little going down, it’s very cinnamon-y, and warms you very quickly.  But when paired with chicken wings, it’s a completely different flavor!  Fireball Glazed Chicken Wings are my latest creation.  The chicken wings are moist, tender and have a wonderfully sweet yet spicy flavor.  The chicken is marinated overnight, then baked, and finished off with a Fireball Whiskey glaze.  The glaze is where the flavor comes into play.  There is a slight hint of cinnamon but it’s not overpowering, red pepper flakes to kick the heat up a notch, and brown sugar to level it all out.  They are phenomenal! Are you ready for the Kentucky Derby?  It’s usually held on the first Saturday in May, making it this upcoming Saturday, May 7, 2022.  A lot of people like to gather with friends and family to watch the races and enjoy some good food and drink.  I believe it’s known as “the greatest two minutes of sports” so why not spend all day in the kitchen for 2 minutes of cheering pleasure? 😊  Kidding…it’s a very fun horse race to watch! Sunday, July 19, 2020 is National Ice Cream day, and what better way to celebrate than with some homemade ice cream! There really is no better time to enjoy ice cream than a hot summer day!  You can obviously eat ice cream year-round but it’s such a cool and refreshing treat during the warm months.  With so many flavors to choose from, you’ll be sure to find your favorite.  I wanted to do something different for National Ice Cream day so I’m celebrating by making homemade ice cream. The holidays are upon us and Christmas is fast approaching.  It’s a busy time of year for most; decorating the house, buying a tree, wrapping gifts, finalizing plans with family, etc. so I want to offer a few drink options you can serve at your get-togethers this year.  I have 4 recipes below, 2 are adults only (sorry kids) and 2 can be for either adults or kids, so there is something for everyone.  I mean, it is the most wonderful (and booziest) time of year! Grinch Punch 2 – 13oz. Packets Unsweetened Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid 2 Cups Sugar 1 – 12oz. Can Pineapple Juice 1 – 12oz.
