Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Serves 4

A step up from your everyday grilled cheese sandwich.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
8 slices Provolone cheese
8 slices sandwich bread

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine butter, oregano, parsley and garlic powder.
  2. Place cheese slices on four slices of bread; top with remaining bread.
  3. Spread outside of each sandwich with butter-herb mixture.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches for 4-5 minutes per side or until bread is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
