Cheesy Sloppy Joes

|2 lbs lean ground beef, or turkey|
|1 cup each yellow onion, finely chopped|
|2 ribs celery, finely chopped|
|3 teaspoons minced garlic|
|Seasoned salt, to taste|
|3 oz. Real bacon bits|
|1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce|
|1 can original Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce|
|1 can Chicken Gumbo Soup|
|1 cup ketchup|
|1 tablespoon Mustard|
|1 tablespoon Brown sugar|
|2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, for topping|
|1 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped|
|Pepper, to taste|
- Preheat large saute pan over medium-heat. Brown ground beef or turkey, breaking up into small pieces. Add onion, bell peppers, celery, and garlic and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper and sauté until veggies are translucent, about 10 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients except cheese and bring to a boil*. Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, covered.
- Adjust seasoning, to taste, and serve large spoonfuls of Sloppy Joe filling on butter-toasted buns topped with a sprinkling of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
