Ingredients:
5 lb chuck roast
1 can beer or non-alcoholic beer
1 can Swanson regular or low-sodium beef broth
1 packet Knorr Au Jus mix
1 packet Good Seasons powder Italian Dressing
1 medium onion, chopped
Directions:
Place the roast in crock pot. Pour the liquid ingredients over the roast. Sprinkle the two packets of powder over the top and finally sprinkle the chopped onion on roast and into liquid mixture.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Use a fork to help the beef fall apart into shreds. Serve as is with traditional sides such as mashed potatoes. The sauce from the slow-cooking process makes a tasty gravy! Or for great sandwiches, serve the beef on Fresh Bakery Dollar Buns and top them your way with Swiss Cheese and more!
