Ingredients:
8 Cups Water
5 Honeycrisp Apples
1 Pear
1 Orange
1 Cup Sugar
5 Cinnamon Sticks
3 Tbsp Mulling Spices
1 Cup Cranberries (frozen work well)
Directions:
- Core and slice the apples into quarters or 6 large chunks per apple. Core and slice the pear into 8 large chunks. Slice the orange into thin slices.
- Add the apples, pear, orange, and cranberries to the bowl of a slow cooker. Add the water. Top with the sugar, mulling spices, and cinnamon sticks. Gently stir to incorporate the sugar and mulling spices.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Once done, place a strainer over a heat safe bowl. Pour the apple cider into the strainer to remove the fruit and mulling spices. Discard the fruit and mulling spices.
- Return the apple cider liquid to the slow cooker and use the “warm” setting.
- Serve warm. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and/or ground cinnamon. Enjoy!
