Ingredients:
| 36 Vanilla Oreos (Golden Oreos) |
| 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened |
| 16 oz Melting Chocolate, see note at end of recipe |
| Sprinkles |
Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (one that will fit in your freezer).
- Place the Oreos in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until they are fine crumbs.
- Transfer to the bowl of a stand mixer and add the cream cheese. Beat until well combined.
- Use a cookie scoop (about 1 – 1 ½ Tbsp size) to scoop the dough and place on the prepared baking sheet and roll into smooth balls with your hands.
- Place in the freezer for 30-60 minutes.
- Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until melted.
- Use a fork to dip each truffle in the melted chocolate until fully coated. Tap off the excess and place back on the prepared baking sheet. Immediately add sprinkles, before the chocolate hardens.
- Repeat until all truffles are coated and decorated. Let sit on the counter or in the fridge until the chocolate is completely set.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Note – you can use milk, dark, or white chocolate, or purchase candy melts in a variety of colors to use. Use more than one color for a variety or use GEL food coloring with white chocolate and make your own color(s).
