Ground Beef Stroganoff





Serves 6
Ingredients:
| 1 lb. lean ground beef |
| 1 large sweet yellow onion, finely chopped |
| 2 teaspoons finely minced garlic |
| Seasoned salt, to taste |
| Freshly ground pepper, to taste |
| 1/2 cup white wine |
| 1 can low-sodium beef broth, (14.5 oz.) |
| 2 cups sour cream |
| 1 package sliced fresh mushrooms, (8 oz.) |
Directions:
- Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef. Add onions and garlic; sprinkle with seasoned salt and freshly ground pepper. Cook until onion has softened, about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté another 5 minutes. Stir in stroganoff seasoning mix. Add in white wine and beef broth; bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through but do not boil. Taste for seasoning and serve over hot cooked buttered egg noodles and garnish with fresh chopped chives or parsley.
