Slow Cooked Chili Dip

Super satisfying and totally delicious.
|16 oz salsa|
|30 tortilla chips|
|3 lb. ground beef|
|2 chipotle peppers, chopped|
|12 oz beer|
|1 tablespoon chili powder|
|1 teaspoon ground cumin|
|2 teaspoons peanut oil|
|1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt|
|1 tablespoon tomato paste|
- Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Pour peanut oil over beef and season with salt.
- Bring a saucepan to medium heat. Once hot, add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.
- Preheat the slow cooker at high heat until hot. Pour beer in first and then add beef. Allow beef and beer to warm up before adding remaining ingredients.
- Place in peppers, tortilla chips, tomato paste, salsa, chili powder and cumin. Stir all contents together then close lid. Cook for at least 2 hours.
