Stout Pancakes with Bananas and Walnuts





Serves 8
Ingredients:
+ Add All Ingredients to Shopping List
1 cup Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat Stout+ Add to Shopping List |
1 cup soy milk+ Add to Shopping List |
2 eggs, slightly beaten+ Add to Shopping List |
2 cups flour, (White, Whole Wheat or mixture-depending on consistency)+ Add to Shopping List |
1 tablespoon baking powder+ Add to Shopping List |
2 tablespoons oil or butter+ Add to Shopping List |
2 bananas, sliced, for topping, optional+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, for topping, optional+ Add to Shopping List |
maple syrup, for topping, optional+ Add to Shopping List |
Directions:
- In a large bowl, thoroughly mix together all ingredients until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
- Top pancakes with sliced bananas and chopped walnuts and serve with warm butter and syrup.
