Grilled Lemon Pepper Halibut with Béarnaise Sauce

Serves 4


Ingredients:

4 oz halibut fillets
Extra-virgin olive oil
Lemon pepper seasoning
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 packet dry Béarnaise sauce mix, prepared according to packet directions, for topping
Lemon wedges, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; brush grate with oil or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Brush halibut fillets with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle all over with lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. Grill skin-side up for about 5 minutes then carefully turn fillet so the skin side is down. Grill another 5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet, or until cooked through.
  4. Prepare Béarnaise sauce according to package directions while fish is grilling.
  5. Remove fish from grill and cover for 5 minutes before serving. Season to taste with salt and pepper and top with a generous ladle of Béarnaise sauce over cooked halibut and garnish with lemon wedges.
