Bourbon Meatballs

1 lbs Mom's Meatloaf from Our Meat Dept
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 Tablespoon Olive Oil (for browning meatballs)
1 jar apricot preserves (approximately 12 oz)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 Tablespoon hot chili sauce
1 Tablespoon Molasses
1/4 cup Water


  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Place raw meatloaf in a bowl and mix the finely chopped onion into the meat.
  3. Form into small 1" balls – using a small scoop will help make them a uniform size.
  4. Heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a skillet and brown the meatballs. Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet, and bake until cooked through, a thermometer should read 160 degrees.
  5. To make the sauce, combine all the sauce ingredients in a skillet and bring to a simmer. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes until thick. Place cooked meatballs into the sauce, and heat through until ready to serve.
