Snow Crab Dip

Serves 8-10


Ingredients:

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded Jarlsberg Cheese
2 scallions (green onions), white and some green parts, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay or Creole Seasoning
2 teaspoons cocktail sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Freshly ground pepper
12 oz. cooked snow crab meat, cartilage removed, or 12 oz. canned lump crab meat (not imitation)
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, for topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 1-quart casserole; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the first 10 ingredients. Fold in crab meat. Spread evenly in prepared casserole and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until heated through and top is lightly browned. Serve with toasted sliced baguettes and crackers.
