Peanut Butter Blossom Bars

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
1 Stick Unsalted Butter, softened
1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Large Egg
2 Tbsp Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 3/4 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
35 Hershey Kisses

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Unwrap the Hershey Kisses.
  2. Add the butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat until well combined. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour into the baking dish and press into an even layer, all the way to the sides. Bake for 20-23 minutes or until the cookies are cooked through and set.
  5. Remove from the oven and arrange the Hershey Kisses in 5 rows, with 7 Kisses per row. Press down slightly so the Kisses sit in the bars and will hold.
  6. Place the baking dish in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to cool the bars and allow the chocolate to harden.
  7. Slice into squares, serve, and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container on the counter.
