Ingredients:
| 1 Tablespoon oil |
| 1 small onion |
| 1 bell pepper (red or green) |
| 1 pound Italian sausage |
| 1 pound lean ground beef |
| 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1 teaspoon oregano |
| 2 large eggs |
| 1 cup Italian bread crumbs |
| 1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
| 8 ounce shredded mozzarella cheese, divided |
| 2 cups marinara sauce, divided |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Dice onion and bell pepper, finely.
- Heat oil skillet, over medium heat sauté diced onion and pepper until the onions are translucent and everything is softened.
- Set aside 1 cup or marinara sauce and 1 cup of shredded.
- Add sausage, beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, oregano, eggs, Italian bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and remaining cups of mozzarella and marinara to a mixing bowl and combine mix until uniform.
- Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray and form meatloaf in the center of pan. Top with remaining Marinara sauce.
- Bake for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 10 more minutes until cheese is melted and the center of the meatloaf registers at least 160 degrees with your thermometer.
