Ingredients:
CHICKEN WING INGREDIENTS
2 lbs Chicken Wings
1 50 ml Bottle Fireball Whiskey
1 1/2 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Salt
1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Paprika
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
FIREBALL SAUCE INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 50 ml Bottles Fireball Whiskey
1/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
Directions:
Add the brown sugar, salt, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon, and red pepper flakes to a Ziplock bag. Shake to combine.
Add the chicken wings, seal the Ziplock bag, and shake to coat. Add the Fireball, seal the bag, and shake to coat.
Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the chicken wings on the baking sheet, evenly spaced. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping after 20 minutes. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
During the last 20 minutes of baking, prepare the Fireball sauce. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk to combine. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling then reduce the heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally until the wings are done baking.
Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the top and toss to coat.
