Fireball Glazed Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

1 50 ml Bottle Fireball Whiskey+ Add to Shopping List
1 1/2 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tbsp Salt+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tsp Paprika+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes+ Add to Shopping List
FIREBALL SAUCE INGREDIENTS+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar+ Add to Shopping List
2 50 ml Bottles Fireball Whiskey+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp Ketchup+ Add to Shopping List
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar+ Add to Shopping List
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce+ Add to Shopping List
2 Garlic Cloves, minced+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 Tsp Salt+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper+ Add to Shopping List

Directions:

  1. Add the brown sugar, salt, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon, and red pepper flakes to a Ziplock bag. Shake to combine.
  2. Add the chicken wings, seal the Ziplock bag, and shake to coat. Add the Fireball, seal the bag, and shake to coat.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the chicken wings on the baking sheet, evenly spaced. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping after 20 minutes. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
  5. During the last 20 minutes of baking, prepare the Fireball sauce. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk to combine. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling then reduce the heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally until the wings are done baking.
  6. Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the top and toss to coat.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
