Ingredients:
| 1 Stick Unsalted Butter, melted |
| 1 Cup Sugar |
| 2 Large Eggs |
| 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract |
| 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour |
| 2 Tsp Cinnamon |
| 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder |
| 1/2 Tsp Salt |
| 1/2 Cup Sour Cream |
| 1/4 Cup Whole Milk |
| 1/2 Cup Mardi Gras Mix Jimmies (combo of purple, green, and yellow) |
| STREUSEL INGREDIENTS: |
| 1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour |
| 2 Tbsp Mardi Gras Mix Jimmies (combo of purple, green, and yellow) |
| 2 Tbsp Sugar |
| 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract |
| 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon |
| 1/8 Tsp Salt |
| 1 1/2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with Crisco then dust with flour.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Pour into the butter mixture and whisk to combine.
- Add the sour cream and milk and whisk until combined.
- Fold in the jimmies.
- Pour into the prepared pan and spread into an even layer.
- Make the streusel topping. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, jimmies, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the vanilla extract and melted butter and stir until combined. The mixture will be crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cook for 15 minutes then remove to a cooling rack to cool.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
- Leftovers should be cooled completely and stored in an airtight container.
