Jarlsberg Portabella Mushroom Burger

Ingredients:
2 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
3 large portabella mushrooms, sliced in half the long way
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup red pepper pesto
6 Toasted Kaiser rolls
6 slices Jarlsberg cheese, or 2 cups shredded
Directions:
In large bowl combine beef with liquid smoke, salt & pepper. Mix well and form up to six patties, chill until ready to cook.
Set grill on high. Scrape out brown underside & stem of mushrooms with a spoon. Drizzle mushrooms with olive oil, salt & pepper and place on plate. Grill burgers. After turning burgers once, place mushrooms on grill and cook 1-2 minutes on each side; remove and keep warm in foil.
Remove burgers, place on toasted bun with pesto, slice of cheese and mushroom. Enjoy!
