Ham and Wisconsin Cheese Strata





Serves 6
Ingredients:
| 6 slices white bread |
| 1 1/2 cups shreddedWisconsin Cheddar Cheese, (6 oz.) |
| 1 package frozen chopped broccoli, (10 oz.)cooked and drained |
| 1 cup diced fully cooked ham |
| 1 tablespoon chopped onion |
| 6 eggs, beaten |
| 1 3/4 cup milk |
| 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
- With a 3-inch biscuit or doughnut cutter, cut one round from each slice of bread. Set the rounds aside. Tear remaining bread scraps into 1-inch pieces; spread evenly in a 9x9x2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese evenly over the bread pieces.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine cooked broccoli, ham, and chopped onion; toss to mix. Layer broccoli mixture over the cheese. Arrange reserved bread rounds on the top.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt. Stir until will-mixed. Pour over bread rounds in the baking pan. Cover pan with foil; chill in the refrigerator several hours or overnight.
- Uncover and bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour or until center is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
