Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Serves 4


Ingredients:

20 jumbo shells
1 lb fresh ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 cup Italian Cheese Blend, (by Kraft)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1/4 cup fresh basil or parsley, chopped

Directions:

  1. Boil noodles al dente, drain, cool and set aside.
  2. In mixing bowl combine ricotta, egg, cheese, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Fill each shell with cheese mixture and place in greased baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top, cover dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. The remaining 5 minutes remove foil and let top get a little golden. Sprinkle top with chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving!
