Margarhita Pizza

Serves 6


Ingredients:

1 package Pillsbury pizza dough
1 large ripe tomato, sliced
2 Ovolini, large fresh mozzarella, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup ground Parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons sliced fresh basil
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Take pizza dough and cut tube of dough in half, work with your hands to pull it into a circle. Place on a cutting board and roll each piece of dough into a 12-inch circle or shape!
  2. Prepare the rest of the ingredients and have them ready before cooking the crust.
  3. Brush one side with 1 tablespoon olive oil and place on a medium hot grill. Cook one side until light brown; turn and start placing all your ingredients on top. Start with parmesan and garlic, then place the tomatoes and mozzarella and a little more parmesan. Cover the grill and let finish cooking and melting.
  4. When done, sprinkle on salt and pepper and of course all the fresh basil you want. Yum!
