Ingredients:
| 1/2 can beer |
| 1 teaspoon ground cumin |
| 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
| 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1 can refried beans, (16 oz.) |
| 1/2 cup prepared chunky hot salsa, (Scottys Firehouse Salsa - Hot is our favorite) |
| 1 package Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch pieces |
| 1 bundle chopped fresh cilantro, (approx. 1/3 cup) |
| Tortilla chips |
Directions:
- Combine beer, cumin, dried oregano and garlic powder in heavy medium size sauce-pan (preferably non-stick). Bring to a simmer.
- Add beans and salsa; stir until heated through. Add Velveeta cheese; stir until cheese completely melts. Stir in cilantro just before serving.
- Transfer to bowl. Serve warm with your favorite tortilla chips.
