Smothered Pork Chops

Serves 6


Ingredients:

Olive oil cooking spray
6 bone-in or boneless pork chops
Olive oil
Pork rub, Tom Douglas or McCormick Grill Mate Pork Rubs
1 can condensed French onion soup, (10 oz.)
1 can Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup, (10 oz.)
1 can beer or non-alcoholic beer, (12 oz.)
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

  1. Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking spray and preheat on high heat. Rub pork chops all over with olive oil and sprinkle with pork rub. Place pork chops, overlapping, in bottom of slow cooker. In a large bowl, whisk together both soups and beer. Pour over pork chops in slow cooker.
  2. Reduce heat to low and cook 6 to 8 hours. Transfer pork chops to platter; stir sour cream into sauce in slow cooker.
  3. Serve pork chops with some of the sauce ladled over top with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.
