Grilled Sirloin Steaks with Garlic Butter





Serves 4
Ingredients:
| Steaks: |
| 4 sirloin steaks, (8 oz. each) |
| Extra-virgin olive oil |
| Montreal Steak Seasoning |
| For Garlic Butter: |
| 1 cup butter, softened |
| 2 tsp garlic powder |
| 6 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed |
| 1/2 cup fresh chives, chopped |
| Sea salt, to taste |
| Freshly ground pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Steak: Preheat an outdoor charcoal or gas grill for high heat. Pat steaks dry with paper towels and rub all over with olive oil. Sprinkle with Montreal steak seasoning.
- Butter: In a medium bowl, mix together garlic butter ingredients and pour onto sheet of wax paper. Fold wax paper up around butter and twist ends together to form a cylinder; refrigerate until ready to use.
- Grill steaks 4 to 5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. When done, transfer to platter, top with slices of garlic butter, tent with foil, and allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
