Directions:
- In a large skillet heat the tablespoon of olive oil. Saute the diced onion and green pepper for 5 minutes until soft and begin to brown.
- Add in the Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of garlic salt, red pepper flakes and black pepper. Stir together well.
- Then add the ground beef and the Italian sausage until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Drain any extra fat from pan.
- Add the pizza sauce, black olives, pepperoni. Mix well and heat until all ingredients are hot.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the dozen dinner rolls, still clustered together in sixes on a cookie sheet. Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter and ¼ teaspoon of garlic salt, then brush the tops of the dinners rolls generously with the butter. Then sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top of the butter brushed rolls. Place them in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes. They will get warm and have a buttery tasty top.
- Slice the rolls open and fill with the pizza filling and top with a ½ slice of mozzarella cheese.
