Pork Egg Roll in a Bowl





Serves 4
Ingredients:
| 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil |
| 1 1/2 Tablespoon fresh ginger, minced |
| 2 cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil |
| 1 lb. ground pork |
| 1 cup thinly sliced white onion |
| 1 cup shredded carrots |
| 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced |
| 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes or more to taste |
| 1/4 cup soy sauce |
| 1 tsp. fish sauce |
| packaged wonton strips for topping |
| 2 green onions |
Directions:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add ginger and garlic, cook until fragrant, not browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Add pork and cook thoroughly. Set aside to add to other ingredients later.
- In large skillet add sesame oil, white onion, carrots, green cabbage, red pepper flakes, cook until cabbage is tender, 5 to 8 minutes.
- Add cooked pork mixture with cabbage mixture, add soy sauce, fish sauce, stir to combine and heat thoroughly.
- Serve in bowls topped with Wonton Strips and garnished with sliced green onion.
