Oven Baked Mediterranean Chicken Breasts





Ingredients:
| 2 -3 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts |
| 2 Tbsp Olive Oil |
| 1/3 Cup Lemon Juice |
| 1 1/2 Tbsp Dried Oregano |
| 1 Tsp Salt |
| 1 Tsp Black Pepper |
| 4 Garlic Cloves, minced |
Directions:
- Add the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic to a Ziploc bag. Seal the bag and shake to combine the marinade. Add the chicken breasts to the bag, seal, and shake to coat.
- Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but preferably up to 2 hour or overnight to marinate.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Once the chicken is marinated, place in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
- Alternate cooking method: Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 14-16 minutes, flipping halfway, or until cooked through.
- Serve immediately with a side of your choice. Enjoy!
