Cranberry Ginger Simple Syrup

Ingredients:

10 oz Fresh Cranberries
1 1/2 Cups Water
1 Cup Sugar
3 1-inch Pieces Fresh Ginger, peeled

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium pot. Heat over medium heat for 7-8 minutes. The cranberries should burst open and start to breakdown.
  2. Remove from the heat and cool slightly. Remove 2 pieces of ginger from the pot (keep 1 piece of ginger in the pot).
  3. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Use as a simple syrup in cocktails. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
