Caramel Apple French Toast Casserole





Ingredients:
| 2 Baguettes, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 10 cups total) |
| 2 Large Honeycrisp Apples, cut into 1/2-inch pieces |
| 8 Eggs |
| 2 Cups Caramel Flavored Coffee Creamer |
| 2 Tsp Apple Pie Spice |
| Caramel Topping |
| 2 Tbsp Peanuts, chopped, optional |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
- Slice the bread and place in the baking pan.
- Slice the apples and sprinkle on top of the bread. You can peel the apples before slicing them, optional.
- In a large bowl, add the eggs, coffee creamer, and apple pie spice. Whisk until smooth.
- If you cannot find Apple Pie Spice, simply combine 2 Tbsp cinnamon, 1 ½ tsp ground nutmeg, and ½ tsp allspice. Use the allotted amount for the recipe and save the rest for a future recipe.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and apples.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the eggs are set.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with caramel topping, use as little or as much as you like. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the top. Slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
