1 package refrigerated Simply Shredded Hash Brown Potatoes, (20 oz.)
1 lb regular Jimmy Dean Sausage
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
8 large eggs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, more to taste
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper, more to taste
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, for topping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray; set aside. Brown and crumble sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain fat; cool about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, unroll crescent rolls and press into bottom of prepared baking dish. Spread top with Simply Hash Browns and sprinkle top with seasoned salt and freshly ground pepper. Drizzle top with melted butter. Bake hash browns crust for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and crispy. Remove from oven; set aside. Sprinkle top with browned sausage crumbles and sharp cheddar cheese.
In a medium bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, and ½ teaspoon seasoned salt and few grinds of freshly ground pepper; pour over all. Sprinkle top with Parmesan Cheese. Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until egg is set and top is golden brown.
**Chef's Note: For more flavor and color, try adding 1 cup chopped onion and/or 1 cup chopped red bell pepper and 1 (8 oz.) package sliced mushrooms to skillet while browning sausage. Top with salsa, if desired.
