Maple Glazed Salmon
Rate this Recipe
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
4 salmon fillets, (6 oz. each)
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish, and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish, and marinate salmon in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake salmon uncovered 20 minutes, or until just cooked through.
- Alternate cooking method: May also be made on grill. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill salmon non-skin side down first about 4 minutes. Turn over and grill skin-side down, brushing with more glaze. Cover and grill 4 more minutes or until just cooked through.
