Green Beans with Cranberries and Walnuts

|1 lb Fresh Green Beans, washed and ends trimmed|
|4 Garlic Cloves, peeled and sliced into quarters|
|2 Tbsp Olive Oil|
|Salt & Pepper, for seasoning|
|Sprinkle of Sugar|
|1 Tsp Lemon Zest|
|2 Tsp Lemon Juice|
|1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries, plus more to taste|
|1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts, plus more to taste|
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Toss the green beans with garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sugar. This can be done in a bowl or right on the baking sheet. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, toss the green beans, and bake for another 10 minutes. The beans should be tender and just starting to shrivel.
- Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, cranberries and walnuts. Toss to combine. Add additional salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Serve warm.
