Frosted Animal Cookie Chow

Ingredients:

12 oz Box Rice Chex Cereal
2 10 oz Bags White Candy Melts
9 oz Bag Frosted Animal Cookies
1/4 Cup Nonpareil Rainbow Sprinkles
3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

Directions:

  1. Add about ¾ of the bag of frosted animal cookies to a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs. Pour into a bowl. Add the sprinkles and stir to combine. Set aside.
  2. Add the cereal to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and stir to coat.
  4. Add the crumb/sprinkle mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and stir to coat.
  6. Pour onto a baking sheet or piece of wax paper on the counter to allow the chocolate to set for about 15 minutes.
  7. Break the remaining frosted animal cookies into small pieces and add to the top of the chow mixture.
  8. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container on the counter.
