Twix Chow

Ingredients:

4 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
12 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
11 oz Bag Kraft Caramel Squares, unwrapped and divided
3 Tbsp Heavy Cream, divided
7 Keebler Shortbread Cookies
3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
3 Twix Candy Bars, chopped

Directions:

  1. Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. Chop the Twix bars. Set aside.
  3. Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and stir to coat.
  4. Add 15-20 caramel squares to a microwave safe bowl. Add 2 Tbsp heavy cream. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Drizzle over the chocolate coated cereal and stir to coat.
  5. Add the shortbread cookies to a food processor. Pulse until fine crumbs.
  6. Add the shortbread crumbs and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  7. Add the shortbread/sugar to the chocolate coated cereal and stir to coat.
  8. Add the chopped Twix bars and stir to combine.
  9. Pour onto a baking sheet or piece of wax paper on the counter. Spread into an even layer.
  10. Add 10 caramel squares to a microwave safe bowl. Add 1 Tbsp heavy cream. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Drizzle over the chocolate coated cereal.
  11. Let sit for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate and caramel to set.
  12. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container on the counter.
