Ingredients:

5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Red Bell Pepper, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Green Bell Pepper, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Yellow Onion, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
3 1/4 Cups Low Sodium Chicken or Vegetable Broth+ Add to Shopping List |
1 1/4 Tsp Salt+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tsp Garlic Powder+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Tsp Dried Thyme+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tsp Paprika+ Add to Shopping List |
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Bay Leaf+ Add to Shopping List |
1 1/2 Cups Basmati White Rice+ Add to Shopping List |
Directions:
- Add the butter to a large saucepan and melt over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced peppers and onion and stir to combine. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or until softened.
- Add the broth, salt, garlic powder, thyme, paprika, pepper, and bay leaf. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil.
- Add the rice and stir to combine. Cover with a lid and reduce the heat to simmer. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked through.
- Remove the cover and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve immediately while still warm. Enjoy!
