1 can Fire Roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cups Water or more, as needed
Directions:
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Sprinkle with Creole seasoning and add green pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until veggies are translucent, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat, if any. Stir in Dirty Rice Mix, undrained tomatoes, and water called for on package directions. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, and cover. Cook about 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Add a little more water as needed if rice is dry. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes; fluff with fork and serve hot. Prep time: 10 minutes Heating time: 35 minutes Yield: serves
