Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers
Rate this Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts |
2 Tbsp Olive Oil |
1 Stick Unsalted Butter |
10 Garlic Cloves, minced |
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan, plus more for topping |
2 Tbsp Frank's Hot Sauce |
2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes |
1/3 Cup Fresh Parsley, chopped, plus more for topping |
2 Tsp Paprika |
1 Tsp Garlic Powder |
1 Tsp Onion Powder |
1/2 Tsp Salt |
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper |
6 8-inch Wooden Skewers |
Directions:
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Cut the chicken into 2-inch pieces and place in a Ziploc bag. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add to the chicken. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving no space between each piece of chicken. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, hot sauce, and parmesan. Whisk to combine and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the parsley, and stir to combine.
- Divide the sauce in ½. One half will be used to baste the chicken while it cooks. The other half will be used to top the chicken before serving.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Add 3 skewers. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Flip the skewers. Baste the skewers and air fry at 400 degrees F for an additional 2 minutes. Flip the skewers again and baste again. Air fry for another 5 minutes. If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Remove to a clean plate and set aside.
- Repeat with the other 3 skewers.
- Once finished, drizzle the remaining sauce over the top. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
