Ingredients:
1 Box Dark Chocolate Brownies, plus ingredients listed on box
8 oz Caramel Sauce
Flakey Salt
9x13 Foil Pan, for smoking
Directions:
Preheat your smoker to 275 degrees with hickory woodchips (or any woodchip flavor of choice).
Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour into a 9x13 foil pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Drizzle about 2 Tbsp of caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with flakey salt.
Smoke the brownies for 25 minutes then add an additional 2 Tbsp of caramel sauce over the top. Continue to smoke in 25-minute increments, adding caramel each time, until done. It should take about 2 hours for the brownies to be cooked through. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. Add woodchips occasionally, based on how smokey you want the brownies to be.
Once you remove the brownies from the smoker, drizzle one last round of caramel and sprinkle flakey salt over the top again.
Let cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
Make it a la mode with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional).
