Salsa Verde Chicken Bake

Ingredients:

1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
8 oz Cream Cheese
16 oz Salsa Verde
8 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Add the chicken and olive oil to a Ziploc bag and seal the bag. Toss to coat the chicken with the oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour into the Ziploc bag, seal again, and toss to coat the chicken.
  4. Line the chicken in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Spread the cream cheese evenly over the top of the chicken.
  6. Pour the salsa evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
