Mini Brie Stars with Wild Berry Jam

Ingredients:

1 Sheet Puff Pastry, thawed
Brie Cheese
Wild Berry Jam, or any jam of choice
1 Egg, beaten

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line 1-2 baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour the counter then roll out the puff pastry to smooth it out.
  3. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes. The size of your cutter will depend on how many pieces you get out of the puff pastry. Recommend using a small cutter for bite sized pieces. Place each piece on the prepared baking sheets, spaced apart.
  4. Cut the brie into approximately 1 CM cubes and place one in the center of each.
  5. Brush the edges with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Remove from the oven and add a small amount of jam on top of the brie, about ½ - 1 Tsp is enough jam.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy! Can also be enjoyed room temperature as they cool.
