Cedar Plank Cured Salmon





Serves 4
Ingredients:
| 1 cup Victoria Taylor's Asian Brining Blend |
| 2 lb fresh salmon fillets |
| 2 cups water, boiling |
| 3 cups ice cubes |
| Cold water |
| Cedar planks |
Directions:
- In bowl, combine brining blend and boiling water. Stir to dissolve salt. Add ice cubes; stir to cool mixture. Pour brining mixture into 1-gallon ziplock food bag; add salmon and enough cold water to fill bag. Close bag and place in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Remove, drain salmon and pat dry - DO NOT RINSE!
- Heat grill to 350 degrees F, add soaked planks to grill rack, close cover and heat for 3 minutes. Turn plank and add salmon to heated plank. Close cover and cook until done. No turning necessary.
