Green Beans with Citrus Butter Sauce

Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans
1 shallot, minced
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 tablespoons navel orange juice
2 tablespoons butter
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Directions:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. When boiling, add beans and cook 8 minutes.
Meanwhile, sweat shallots in olive oil 3 minutes on medium heat. Then add orange juice and zest and reduce by half. Once reduced, whisk in butter and set aside.
Drain beans and toss in citrus butter sauce and enjoy!
