Beer Battered Cheese Curds





Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
+ Add All Ingredients to Shopping List
1 Cup Beer or non-alcoholic beer, (8 oz)+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tsp Baking Powder+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Cup Flour+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Egg+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tsp Salt+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Bag Cheese Curds, (12 oz) chilled in freezer for 10 minutes+ Add to Shopping List |
Vegetable Oil, for frying+ Add to Shopping List |
Ranch Dressing, for serving, if desired+ Add to Shopping List |
Directions:
- Whisk batter ingredients together in medium bowl. Fill a large deep skillet or Dutch oven with 1-inch of vegetable oil and heat to 350 degrees F.
- Dip chilled cheese curds in batter mix and fry in batches until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with Ranch dip on the side, if desired.
