Ingredients:
| 1 lb Festival Foods Fresh Italian Sausage Mild or Hot |
| 1/4 teaspoon minced Garlic |
| 1 tablespoon Parsley flakes |
| 1 tablespoon Basil |
| 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt |
| 1 can Diced Tomatoes, (15 oz) |
| 2 cans Tomato Paste, (6 oz. each) |
- Brown sausage. Strain to remove the grease. Add the remaining above ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.
| 3 cups small curd Cottage Cheese |
| 2 Eggs, beaten |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon Pepper |
| 2 tablespoon Parsley flakes |
| 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese |
| 1 oz. Lasagna noodles |
| 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella Cheese, (or more) |
- Mix together first six ingredients. Set aside.
- Boil the noodles until almost done; drain.
- Using half the mixture, layer in 9 x 13 cake pan: noodles, meat sauce mixture, Cottage cheese mixture and mozzarella cheese. Repeat using the other half of the ingredients.
- Bake at 375 degrees covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and finish baking for another 10 minutes.
