Ingredients:

1 lb Festival Foods Fresh Italian Sausage Mild or Hot+ Add to Shopping List |
1/4 teaspoon minced Garlic+ Add to Shopping List |
1 tablespoon Parsley flakes+ Add to Shopping List |
1 tablespoon Basil+ Add to Shopping List |
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt+ Add to Shopping List |
1 can Diced Tomatoes, (15 oz)+ Add to Shopping List |
2 cans Tomato Paste, (6 oz. each)+ Add to Shopping List |
- Brown sausage. Strain to remove the grease. Add the remaining above ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.
3 cups small curd Cottage Cheese+ Add to Shopping List |
2 Eggs, beaten+ Add to Shopping List |
1 teaspoon salt+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 teaspoon Pepper+ Add to Shopping List |
2 tablespoon Parsley flakes+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese+ Add to Shopping List |
1 oz. Lasagna noodles+ Add to Shopping List |
1 lb. shredded Mozzarella Cheese, (or more)+ Add to Shopping List |
- Mix together first six ingredients. Set aside.
- Boil the noodles until almost done; drain.
- Using half the mixture, layer in 9 x 13 cake pan: noodles, meat sauce mixture, Cottage cheese mixture and mozzarella cheese. Repeat using the other half of the ingredients.
- Bake at 375 degrees covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and finish baking for another 10 minutes.
