2 15oz Cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
3 Celery Stalks, chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 Medium Yellow Onion, chopped
1 Cup Chicken Stock
1 1/2 Cups Fresh Apple CIder
1 1/2 Tsp Fresh Sage, chopped
1 1/2 Tsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp Paprika
1/4 Tsp Cayenne
2 Apples, chopped, for topping
Directions:
In the bowl of a slow cooker, add all ingredients listed about (except the chopped apples) and stir together.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Serve with chopped apples on top.
***You can use 2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts in place of the rotisserie chicken. If you do this, cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours to confirm the chicken is cooked through***
