Veggie French Bread Pizza

Ingredients:

+ Add All Ingredients to Shopping List
1 French Bread Loaf, cut in half horizontally, or use our own Twin French Bread loaves.+ Add to Shopping List
15 oz Can Marinara Sauce+ Add to Shopping List
Red Onion, thinly sliced+ Add to Shopping List
Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced+ Add to Shopping List
1 Large Tomato, chopped or thinly sliced+ Add to Shopping List
Broccoli, cut into florets+ Add to Shopping List
1 Cup Ricotta Cheese+ Add to Shopping List
4 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded, or any Italian Cheese blend+ Add to Shopping List
2 Tsp Garlic Powder, optional+ Add to Shopping List
2 Tsp Dried Basil+ Add to Shopping List

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the French Bread in half, horizontally. If the bread is too long to fit on the baking sheet, slice the bread in half.
  3. Chop your veggies.
  4. Place the bread on the baking sheet. Spread marinara sauce evenly over each piece of bread.
  5. Add ½ cup of cheese to each piece of bread.
  6. Evenly distribute the veggies across each piece of bread.
  7. Add dollops of ricotta cheese to each piece of bread.
  8. Optional, sprinkle garlic powder over each piece of bread.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of each piece of bread, about ½ cup each.
  10. Sprinkle dried basil over the top of each piece of bread.
  11. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread is crispy.
  12. Cut into slices and serve warm.
