Instant Pot Garlic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, slice into 1-inch pieces
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
3 Tsp Italian Seasoning
2 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 White Onion, diced
16 oz Dried Pasta, any variety
3 Cups Chicken Broth
4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
2 oz Cream Cheese
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Fresh Basil, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Add the salt, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper to a large Ziploc bag. Add the sliced chicken. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken.
Add the olive oil to the Instant Pot and turn on the SAUTE setting. Once hot, add the chicken and cook until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Add the chopped onion and stir to combine.
Turn off the SAUTE setting and add a small amount of the chicken broth to deglaze the bottom of the Instant Pot. Then, add the dried pasta and the rest of the chicken broth. Stir to combine.
Close the lid and make sure the valve is in the “sealed” position. Turn the Instant Pot on and cook on manual, high pressure, for 5 minutes. Quick release the steam when done.
Add the butter, cream cheese, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and melt the butter and cream cheese.
Serve immediately and garnish with fresh chopped basil. Enjoy!
