Ingredients:
24 oz Jar Marinara Sauce
1 lb Ground Turkey
1/4 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Large Egg
2 Tbsp White Onion, grated
2-3 Garlic Cloves, minced
3 Tbsp Shredded Parmesan
1/3 Cup Plain Breadcrumbs
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp Fresh Basil, finely chopped
Sliced Black Olives
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken broth, egg, white onion, garlic, parmesan, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and basil. Mix until well combined.
Add the turkey and use your hands to mix until just combined. Form into 12-16 meatballs.
Add the entire jar of marinara sauce to an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish. It should come about ½ way up the sides of the baking dish.
Place the meatballs in the marinara sauce. Add a black olive on top of each meatball to resemble an eye.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve warm, on a bed of cooked spaghetti noodles, making sure to scoop some of the marinara sauce over the noodles as well. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese, optional. Enjoy!
